Meeting Seasonal Demand Without Permanent Equipment Costs

The Challenge

A company supporting large scale events and expositions experiences heavy seasonal demand during the summer months. For four to six months each year, trailer requirements increase significantly, with events taking place nearly every week. Purchasing additional trailers would result in underutilized assets for most of the year.

Our Consultative Approach

We examined the customer’s annual cycle to understand peak usage periods versus off season needs. The goal was to provide reliable equipment during high demand months without forcing year-round ownership costs.

The Solution

We supplied dry van trailers on a month-to-month basis during the customer’s busiest season. This allowed them to add capacity only when needed, without committing to long term leases or purchasing equipment that would sit idle for much of the year.

The Result

The customer maintained operational efficiency throughout their peak season while keeping costs predictable. When demand slowed, trailers were returned seamlessly. This flexible approach allowed the business to grow and adapt year after year without overextending resources.
